Joe – 7 year old male Greyhound

Joe is lovely Greyhound who is a total sweetie who will turn 7 years old on June 11th.

We can only guess at where Joe has been since his last recorded race in 2004. Joe turned up 4 weeks ago on a ladies doorstep after she put a wanted ad in the free ads for a small dog. The lady was thinking more on the Yorkshire Terrier lines so when Joe turned up she said she couldnt keep him so called us for help…

Joe is a wonderful boy who has been through alot in his life. Joe was left at some point with a dislocated hock which was left to mend itself. The pain Joe must have been in is unthinkable. We have has this leg Xrayed and spoken to a specialist who feels the hock is stable and best left alone.

Despite all he has been through Joe is the kindest, calmest and sweetest boy you could wish to meet; he has a beautiful smile and loves to learn. Joe is very affectionate and just wants a calm home where he can have companionship and lie around in comfort. Joe does not want or need alot of excercise; in fact a large garden for him to mooch around would suit him perfectly.

Please consider Joe for your family, he would be the perfect companion for the more mature home – he would be sooo lovely with the grandkids as he is brilliant with children – Joe also walks like a true gent on the lead, calm and gentle. In the home Joe has just enough oumpf to keep you smiling at his antics but equalled with the perfect amount of peace to sleep the days away – with the odd wriggle and roach…………..we cant sing his praises enough
