Jonti - 4-6 year old male Rough-Coated Lurcher

Jonti is a beautiful 4-6 year old rough coated Lurcher boy who recently made his way into our care from a stray pound situation so nothing is known of his history. We may have a home in mind for Jonti hence we have jumped him into foster but just incase we decide after an assessment he isn’t right for the home felt we would put him up for homing incase anyone else would like to express an interest.

Jonti is in foster with 2 dominant males and 2 dominant females lucky boy all of whom he gets on well with although he has yet to be castrated (booked in Friday). Since arriving in his foster home Jonti has been spotlessly clean, settles easily and has been given time out in a seperate room away from other dogs and is again happy to sleep without a fuss.

We do feel that Jonti has been a worker and the tell tale facial scars and nicks out of his tongue and ears also point us to thinking along these lines. He is NOT cat friendly either. Jonti is fine with people and is lovely to walk out and about on leash. We will be further testing his reaction on walks to cats and squirrels to see if he pulls, lunges etc over the course of the next week.

Jonti really is a very easy laid back sweet and loving dog and will suit almost any home. This lad will just come in heave a sigh, find a bed or sofa and say this will do! Jonti is vaccinated, KC vaccinated, deflead, dewormed, micro-chipped and will shortly be neutered.
