Joy – 4-5 year old female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Joy is an ex puppy farm breeding bitch and is thought to be aged between 4 and 5 years. Typically Joy was in poor condition when she came in to our care. The poor girl had to have 21 teeth removed and was treated for a nasty ear infection. Due to persistent ‘air scratching’ it is thought Joy suffers from mild Syringomyelia (SM). Whilst not curable, this condition is treated long-term with Gabapentin, which is relatively inexpensive.

Joy can be initially very shy but once comfortable with new people and surroundings she becomes quite confident and very cheeky. Walking on a lead is work in progress with Joy and she still has a little way to go in that respect. She is house-trained. As with all our puppy farm dogs, we are seeking a home with another calm resident dog and no children.

Joy has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Please message us if you feel you can offer Joy the home she seeks.
