Judy is a bright three year old, German Shepherd female who is back with us looking for a third chance of love. She was initially brought to the centre in June 2014 due to welfare issues and did find loving adopters. Unfortunately, due to a change in her owners` circumstances, she is back again and looking for a new home.
Judy is an enthusiastic and playful girl, but she needs some help to adapt to new situations. She did not have the best start in life and like a lot of German Shepherds, Judy seems at times to be protective over her space and the people she trusts, so she needs a little help with this although she has been absolutely brilliant in her adoptive home. She can be quite loud and shouty around other dogs sometimes, especially in the kennel environment, but once she is relaxed in a home and she is comfortable with her handler, she really is much happier and socialises politely with other dogs on walks. She likes her home and family to herself though, so she would rather be the only pet and queen of her castle!
This amazing lady has come on leaps and bounds in her adoptive home and she is now a much happier girl who knows how great life can be. She is looking for a home with wonderful new owners, ideally with experience of big breed dogs, willing to help and support her into a new home. This big lady would rather with adults and teenage children too (if any at all).
