Jumbo – 12-18 month old male Newfoundland cross Rottweiler

Jumbo is a approximately 12-18 month old Newfoundland cross Rottweiler he was found abandoned at a service station on the motorway he served his time at the pound and then came into the care of Dogs Friends rescue. Jumbo is stunning he gets attention wherever he goes he is friendly with most dogs he meets he is excellent with livestock in fact when shown a field full of horses he went and led next to one and went to sleep he mixes daily with sheep and is genuinely a big softie.

He bonds very quickly with his carers and it is breaking our hearts to shut him away in his kennel at the end of every day. Jumbo needs a strong pack leader in his life not because he is naughty but because although he is a big powerful dog he looks to his owners for guidance and can be a little nervous in some situations. He is extremely loving and is a pleasure to have around on and off lead he just wants to please you. Give this big lad a chance and he will be the most loyal friend you will ever find.
