Kai – 16 month old male Akita
This is Kai, an incredibly good looking 16 month old boy looking for a new home due to a change in his owner’s circumstances. Incredibly confident and friendly, Kai instantly approached our assessor to accept a fuss. A very excitable boy, Kai has a knowledge of commands, he will sit and lie down when asked, in a giddy manner – however, as an incredibly food motivated boy, Kai responds well to food based training. Kai has not shown any signs at all of food possession or aggression, and took treats nicely from our assessor. Presented with a toy, Kai was content to play and share without guarding.
Kai has been socialised with other dogs, and could potentially live with another, pending successful introductions. With regards to children, Kai has spent a considerable amount of time with a five year old, and as such we feel that he could live in a home with children aged eight and over.
