Kaiser – 14 month old male Husky

Kaiser is a male Husky and is 14 months old, (as of 22/03/2013). He is good with children and other dogs. Not to be re-homed with cats. He came into rescue kennels as there was a change in the owner’s circumstances. Kaiser has done nothing wrong. Kaiser is a lovely boy, a real sweetie, a very gentle loving dog. He does pulls on the lead and we would suggest a harness would be better for him. He does a nice sit. He likes to play ball. He does not bark when he is left alone.

However, as Kaiser is a young Husky he will need an active and busy home with plenty of stimulation and exercise or he will become bored and unhappy. Please do not enquire after Kaiser if you only intend walking him for a couple of short walks a day. He needs an active home! Husky’s are not suitable for everyone, please research the breed and requirements before enquiring.

We are still in the process of assessing Kaiser and getting to know him, slowly he is becoming less worried and we are starting to see his true personality emerging. Please phone for more information.

Please note, we operate a policy of NOT re-homing same sex dogs together, e.g. existing dog male then we would not allow another male dog to be re-homed with you.

RSPCA Essex South West
The RSPCA Essex South West Branch is, like all RSPCA branches, an independent charitable trust. As such, it has to be financially self-supporting – in other words it has to raise the funds it needs to support its animal welfare activities. The Branch covers an area ranging from Dagenham & Barking in the South to Epping & Nazeing in the North, Waltham Abbey to the West and Abridge to the East. Although we do rehome our dogs to all other areas. The Branch is run and staffed entirely by volunteers. The main activity of the Branch is in rescuing and finding new homes for companion animals that for a variety of reasons are either homeless or cannot stay with their present owner. We work in partnership with Hillside Kennels telephone 01992 892881, who board our rescue dogs and carry out the rehoming process on our behalf. All dogs who are rehomed from us will have their initial course of vaccinations, worm and flea treatments and will be neutered. In the last eight years (to December 2012) the RSPCA ESSEX SOUTH WEST Branch has re-homed approximately 2200 cats and 1700 dogs. 220 dogs were re-homed in 2013.
