Katoe – 8 year old female Akita

Katoe older Akita Girl. Katoe is an older girl who is around 8 yrs old, she has come to us in rather an unkept condition and is ready to start her retirement as soon as she can find a forever home. It isnt clear how Katoe got into her poor condition, her coat has not had the care it should and her new owners will need to be prepared to groom her regularly to maintain her in good condition.

Katoe is a friendly girl and still enjoys her walks, she can be strong and likes to sniff about the woods in true doggy fashion. Katoe is fine to be handled and will make a loyal companion to a lucky new owner.

UPDATE: Walked Katoe today and she is such a laid back girl. Used an extendible and she was no problem, always checks back with you and feel she would bond pretty quickly with you. Comes out of her kennel very calmly showing no reaction to any dogs that are barking. Did enjoy a chest rub tilting her head to one side with eyes closed.
