Kia – 1 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross

Kia is a sweet 1 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross. She came into our care from the inspectors with virtually no background information. We were told she was allegedly beaten and the poor girl appears to have already had two homes through no fault of her own.

Unsurprisingly Kia can be timid and was very frightened and stressed when she was transported to our kennels. Since then, she has settled in remarkably quickly and is very friendly and loves licking your face. She still can be shy and nervous when placed in unfamiliar surroundings but this is to be expected given her background. She walks fairly well on the lead and does seem to have a grasp of basic commands.

Poor Kia has had a bad start in life so she will need to have understanding owners who will give her stability and the love and attention that she deserves. Kia could be rehomed with secondary school age children. As we know very little about her background, we feel it is better to rehome her as an only dog.
