Kiera and Kara – 1-6 month old female Border Collies

Please meet two beautiful collie pups. Both these pups are little sisters who we saved out of “The Pound” on Christmas eve where they were about to be put down. We have not advertised them before because they were so scared and nervous of people we have been slowly building up their confidence and giving them lots of “Tender, Loving Care” and lots of love and cuddles. Obviously this has been a slow process as in the beginning they wouldn’t come any where near us or other dogs.

However, they are slowly coming out of themselves now and responding to human company with a waggy tail and not a frightened look like they had. They are still a bit timid when unsure about something but they getting so much love and attention every day is an improvement.

They play very happily together and with other dogs that now visit the garden. They have got used to wearing a collar and are getting used to being walked on a lead. Their house training is coming on very well indeed. They are dry at night, are crate trained and as long as they are let out in the garden regularly we have no mishaps in the house at all. They sleep well at night and travel well in a car. They have been introduced to the cat and are OK with her.

We are looking for someone who is very experienced in dogs to continue all this good work and in making these two lovely little girls feel loved and wanted. Ideally, we would like someone will knowledge of the Boarder Collie breed as once these girls have got over their ordeal they will make fantastic normal intelligent collie dogs with a high stimulation and exercise program.

We are looking for a home where someone will be about for most of the day too as they are both young puppies and need the continuing socialisation and puppy training that every puppy should get.

These two pups have been vaccinated and wormed but will need to be neutered and micro-chipped when old enough as part of the adoption agreement and proof of this will need to be provided.

If you are interested in giving one if these lovely little girls a loving forever home please fill out an adoption form on www.leavalleydogrescue.co.uk or contact Jackie on 07857604365 or Yasmina on 07815547667 eves
