King – 6 year old male Jack Russell Terrier

Hello, my name is King. I’m a six year male Jack Russell Terrier. I arrived at The Mayhew after being found abandoned on the streets. I’m an active and playful boy. I love going to the park and I always enjoy a good game with my toys, especially tennis balls. I’m super sweet, I like to climb onto laps for a cuddle and roll over to have my tummy rubbed. I know the basic commands and I’m toilet trained. As it is not yet known how long I can be left, I will need someone who is home all day.

I’m now looking for a forever home with a person or family who’ve owned dogs before and have researched my breed type. I can live with children of 16 years and upwards, but will need to be the only pet in the home. I’m looking for someone who will provide me with a minimum of one hour of off lead exercise every day in a park. You’ll need to be fully prepared for the hard work and long term commitment involved in owning a dog, you’ll be taking on an eleven year commitment which must not be taken lightly.

I hope to see you soon,

King
