Koby – 2-3 year old male Husky cross Collie

Koby is around 2-3 years old and we think a Husky cross Collie. His face says husky, but he has the size, intelligence and mannerisms of a Collie, we think he’d be brilliant at agility or similar. Koby is a very loving, cuddly boy, he gives you cuddles as soon as he sees you and always looks back for you on a walk. His recall is great and he walks perfectly on the lead. He has some anxiety when meeting other dogs on the lead and suffers from kennel stress. He could possibly live with another dog but would need careful introductions first.

In his previous home he was perfect with other dogs and loved playing with them off lead. He travels perfectly in the car, is house trained and was a perfect gentleman as we toweled him down after getting soaked in the rain!

Koby would love a home where someone could challenge that clever mind of his and keep him busy, someone around a lot would be ideal. Children in their teens or over only, no cats. Definitely someone with lots of love to give – in return you’ll be rewarded with a faithful, forever best friend.

If you can offer Koby that special home please get in touch, he really would love to be out of kennels. He’s such a special boy and you could stare at that face for hours!

Beacon Animal Rescue Centre (BARC)
For further details regarding adopting a dog from Beacon Animal Rescue Centre (BARC) in Canterbury, Kent, please email info@barc.uk.com (please allow around 48 hours for a reply, our phone number is for emergencies only). Please note, an adoption fee applies. Our ethos is a modest one; to save one life at a time. We believe that animals deserve a chance for a better life no matter where they are born in the world. That is why BARC are committed to rescuing dogs and cats from both within the UK, as well as rescuing animals from countries where they face extreme hardships and have no other alternatives, like Romania. In the future we also hope to be able to contribute towards neutering programmes in countries that need it most.
