Kye – 11 year old female Collie cross Whippet

The owner contacted an RSPCA Inspector for help in rehoming his 8 dogs including 5 puppies due to disabilities he just could not give them what they needed. Kye has come in with Julie and Kenzo also up for rehoming. He was already neutered, he has been wormed/flead, vaccinated incl KC and micro-chipped, he also had a dental.

Kye is a lovely friendly boy who just loves attention, he has been brought up with children; he will make a lovely family pet but perhaps a more mature family to match his age! Kye is an active dog so don’t be fooled! He is fine with other dogs but can’t be rehomed with cats. Like his pals Kye needs a home where someone is around a lot but he can be left for a few hours. His recall needs work as he doesn’t always come straight back when called-must be the Whippet in him! He really is a character; he can be vocal but it’s all bravado, he’s always been that way, he’s a lovely dog indeed!

The shaved patches shown in his video is where he had some wounds attended to that he sustained during his stay in the kennels when there was an incident with other dogs. He loves his walks and enjoys meeting other dogs so the aforementioned incident has not affected him which is great!
