Lady – 13 year old female Jack Russell cross Yorkshire Terrier
Lovely Lady is an adorable 13 year old Jack Russell cross Yorkshire Terrier who is currently in an Oldies Club foster home in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. Lady settled into her new foster home straight away and is happy being left for a few hours at a time. She’s always ready to give you a very enthusiastic welcome home though!
Lady has previously lived with cats, but she’s quite choosy about her canine friends, so she needs a new home where she’ll be the only dog. When she’s out and about she’ll bark at any dogs she doesn’t like, particularly bigger dogs. Lady also needs a home without children and as she can be a little wary of men, she’d really be suitable for an older, perhaps retired or part-time, single lady

Lady loves company and will happily sit beside you, whether you’re in the house or out in the garden. She’s particularly fond of lying in the sun on her blanket or letting you give her a gentle brush. She’s very clever too, and will sit up on her bottom when she wants your attention!
Lady can be fussy about her walks. Sometimes she’s happy to be driven out in the car to one of her regular walks, but on other occasions she just doesn’t want to go out at all. She’ll therefore suit someone who doesn’t want an active dog and who is happy to let her have a wander about the garden.
Lady loves her home-cooked food and is currently enjoying being fed on chicken. As you’ve probably now guessed, she’s quite a spoiled little lady and she’s hoping she’ll be able to continue with the lifestyle she’s become accustomed to!
Lady is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and has been flea and worm-treated. She has had three tumours removed and has a heart murmur, but doesn’t currently need medication for this.
