Lady

Lady is a female Rhodesian Ridgeback aged 4 years old who has been signed over to the branch in order that she can find living conditions more conducive to her size and quality of life needs. Not that her owner did not love and spoil her!

At 40kg Lady is about 5kg overweight (being sorted) and she has a slight ear infection (also being sorted) nevertheless, her condition is great. She is house trained and travels well in cars. Not good with cats and other small furries! Much better with squeeky toys, bones and other noisey toys, yet on that latter front she is scared of fireworks, thunder and people arguing or shouting.

We know she loves people, including her past owner, and so the sooner we can get her rehomed and centred on a new welcoming human face, the better. She’s so friendly, if not a little timid, but is going to make someone a really wonderful new companion.

Pulls strongly on the lead. Chases cats and other furries. Because she is a large dog, we think that any new home should only have teenage children and, ideally, a new owner who is Ridgeback or large dog savvy! By the way, she is very keen on sofas! We know she is unsettled at being in kennels, so hopefully we can foster or rehome her very soon
