Lara – 2 year old female German Shepherd Cross

Lara is a two-year-old German Shepherd Cross. She was picked up as a stray and after seven days in the pound without being claimed, she was entrusted to Vigil’s. Nothing is known about her background. When she came in, she was absolutely terrified of everyone. Since then, it hasn’t taken her long to come out of her shell.

Lara has done really well and once she gets to know you, she is very affectionate. She did find herself a home, but unfortunately although she was willing to be friends, the resident cat did not like her at all. She would do well in an adult-only home where her general training can be continued as she is very willing to learn. Lara gets on well with other dogs if they are friendly to her.
