Larry is a 3-4 year old male Greyhound cross. Larry came in to the rescue as a unclaimed stray he was due to be put to sleep before we stepped in. It is hard to see from the photo’s but he is around 5kg’s underweight, he has some physical and mental scars that show that he has had a really rough time in his short life so far, Larry is very nervous around men and is terrified of being trapped in cages and finds travelling in cars a trauma and will flinch and shiver if he feels he is in trouble or if he feels something bad will happen.
However they is a ray of hope in these terrified eyes, he loves other dogs and loves to play (he is a bit of a wimp and will run and hide if he feel that he might be beaten up!) He has been great in the house and slept downstairs with the other dogs without a peep!
Larry is going to be very much a project dog, you will need to win his trust, but in return you will have a best friend for life. Larry would suit either a single person on a couple, but no small children. Larry is fully vaccinated, micro chipped, neutered and up to date with all flea treatment and wormer.
