Layla is a 9 year old Jack Russell Terrier cross. Layla is fostered in Norwich (FR088). She recently had her hind leg removed due to a long standing fracture and already seems much more comfortable and confident without it. She has a very sweet and so far shy personality. It’s obvious she hadn’t had a lot of exercise, likely due to her injury, as she was rather rotund when she arrived! However now she is doing very well with her lead training and is starting to lose some pudge.
After a few attempts of Layla believing she didn’t want to go outside, she is now enjoying her twice daily walks and I look forward to her being able to venture further when her wound heals. Having been nervous of human attention when she first arrived she has now started to seek me out for a little fuss here and there and I think in the future she will be a very amiable companion.
Please take this lovely older girl into your heart and make her retirement years the best of her life. If you are interested please call or message us.
