Leo – 5 year old male Carpathian Sheepdog Cross

Leo is a mixed breed, his DNA showing Carpathian and Romanian Sheepdog approximately five years. Weighing 34 kg he is a fairly large dog who has been rescued form a Romanian kill shelter.
Leo has been in a foster home where he is enjoying being a pet, he loves sleeping and does not need a huge amount of exercise. His ideal home would be somewhere rural/quiet , not with young children as he loves to play and may knock them over, older teenagers would be good. Leo is still rather worried meeting new people, especially men but soon relaxes when he realises there is no threat.

At present Leo is in a foster home in the south of England but travel can be arranged, he lives with elderly greyhounds and Lurchers, he meets dogs out on walks and has been a perfect gentleman. Leo has been fully vaccinated, neutered and micro chipped. He has lots of love to give and and would make an ideal companion. Would be fine as an only dog with someone who is experienced and give him consistent guidelines. Leo is hoping for a forever home soon.
