Leo – 6 year old male Border Collie

Leo is a very handsome border collie who is six years old. The couple who owned Leo had recently had a baby and felt that they did not have enough time to devote to owning a dog as well. Leo is a very active dog who has a very typical collie nature, he is extremely intelligent, loves activity and to play (especially fetch), and whilst he is sociable with most other dogs he would not be suitable to live with another dog as likes to be in charge on home
territory.

Leo would love to go to a home where he can be given plenty of exercise and stimulation and ideally where there has been experience of the breed before. This active fun loving character would make an affectionate companion for the right home but would need clear and consistent guidelines set out so that he could understand the rules of the house. Due to his protective nature and instinct to guard Leo would not be suitable in a home where there
are any children who are young or inexperienced with dogs.
