Leo – 2 year old male Irish Wolfhound Cross

Please meet Leo the wonder dog! Leo is a 2 year old Irish Wolfhound Cross (but he is only the size of a tall labrador) who found himself abandoned and unwanted on the streets of Romania, where the dogs are poisoned on the streets or euthanized after being taken caught by the dog wardens. Leo is fantastic with people and other dogs, and he has met my cats and has not been fazed by them. He is also fantastic with our ducks, chicken and geese! A brilliant all round super star! Leo is a firm favorite within the rescue, mainly due to his beautiful greeting to everyone he meets! He is always the first to cover you in kisses and it’s impossible to walk by him without stopping to give him a cuddle!

Leo can be a little over enthusiastic with his greetings…he could live with children but they would need to be used to a bouncy pooch wanting to love them! Leo has a pet passport and has been microchipped, neutered and vaccinated. Leo had mange approximately 4 months ago, this has been treated and his hair is growing back beautifully. Leo had a good recall and will need to live with another dog for company and play.

If you can offer Leo a place in your heart and your home, please fill in the pre adoption form on our website www.sedogrescue.co.uk.
