Lexi – 2 year old female Lurcher

Lexi is a female Lurcher who is about 2 years old. She has come to Lurcher Link via a vets where she was taken when she was found wandering with some injuries. She has a fawn rough coat and stands about 24-25 ins to the shoulder. She’s quite stocky in build and stands very square. She’s obviously had some training as she’s very well behaved and knows basic commands such as “sit” and “come” but no owners have come forward for her.

Lexi has been kenneled with another dog and has lived with other dogs in a foster home with no problems but she’s not shy of telling them off if she thinks they’re overstepping the mark! She does have a VERY high prey drive (can leap over a 6ft fence to get at a squirrel from a standing start! ) so is absolutely NOT cat friendly and care will need to be taken if she goes to live anywhere near cats. Lexi may need surgery on her tail as it’s been broken, but we’re hoping that can be done at the same time as she’s spayed.

Lexi will be neutered, full vaccinated and micro chipped and is currently being fostered in Lancs. If you’d like to know more about her please email kaye@lurcherlink.org. Further details can also be found on her Lurcher Link page : http://www.lurcherlink.org/llink/forum/viewtopic.php?t=87504.
