Lexis is a 7 month old male Kokoni Cross. Lexis is a rescue from Cyprus who is currently living in a foster home in Harrow. He has flown to the UK hoping to find a loving, forever home. His foster mum describes Lexus as “very playful, extremely sociable with an absolutely fabulous character ”. Lexis is a Kokoni Terrier cross. The Kokoni is a Greek dog and “Kokoni” means “small dog” in Greek. Kokoni love human interaction and are fearless despite their small size. The breed is alert, lively, cheerful, smart and loyal. They are great companion dogs. Kokoni are full of fun, love to run and play and Lexis is no exception to this breed description.
Lexis needs a family who has time to train him. He is very smart and loves to learn. As a result he gets bored easily and being a baby, if left to his own devices, he find something fun to do like stealing slippers and socks and perhaps chewing stuff that he shouldn’t! Just like any other puppy would. He loves learning new commands and walks well on his lead. He loves playing tug of war and ball games and will with ongoing training and support become an amazing family pet. He eats well. His foster mum takes him to the care home where a relative is and he is brilliant there. She says that “he was born to bring joy to people who need it”, even her Mum who is scared of dogs has been won over by him.
Lexis is very clever and needs stimulation with clear boundaries set. He would also appreciate a home with playmates to keep up with him. However it would be best if any children in his family are aged 7 or over as he is still a very lively wee guy. He is a very loving wee dog who has charm and anyone who meets him cannot help but love him!
