Lil - 3 1/2 year old female Greyhound cross Deerhound

This beautiful girl is three and a half and a greyhound/deerhound cross, albeit not a very large one, about the size of an average greyhound - she can even squidge on an armchair! She has come to us from a home as her owners were no longer able to keep her and is very sweet natured with a waggily bottom and a whole array of cute facial expressions! Lil is housetrained and she seems to be good with other dogs, both large and small. In fact, she is happily sharing the living room in her foster home with two terriers and two greyhounds.

Lil has been used for rabbiting in the past, so we were expecting that cats may prove rather difficult, however, first indications are actually very promising as she barely even glanced at the cat that came to wind itself round my feet when we were getting her out of the boot of the car! Given her background, we will be testing this more thoroughly when she has had a few days to settle in. Lil is very thin and her coat is poor at the moment, although she smells much better now she’s had a bath, but we don’t think it will take very long at all for her condition to improve with a bit of TLC. Lil is going to make a very special pet - could she be the right girl for you?
