Lilah – 3 year old female Lurcher

What a sweetie Lilah is, she is a 3 year old Lurcher. She has a face to melt even the hardest heart! Who knows what her story is but we are sure someone must have loved her once………

Lilah came to us from the Dog Warden at the eleventh hour as she was going to be put to sleep. Even though we didn’t have room for her we took her in anyway as we couldn’t let that happen………Lilah arrived complete with orange nail varnish on her claws. Maybe she once belonged to a family with children? Whatever her history we will never know for sure what has happened to her or how she ended up in the pound, but at least she is safe now.

Whilst we found space for her Lilah spent some time at the home of one of our volunteers. She was very happy amongst the other dogs there, and was also really comfortable with the two children in the home, all of which is good news of course. It appears that she may well have lived in a house before, as she seems unfazed by the hoover and television.

We are sure it won’t be long before this super little girl will find herself another family to love.
