Lilly – 8 month old female Border Collie Cross

Pretty little Lilly is one of the most adorable dogs we have had here at the rescue, however she has been returned to us for showing food aggression. Lilly was originally adopted from our Welsh branch when she was 8 weeks old, not long after this she contacted Campylobacter and was quite poorly. Her owner feels this contributed to her issues around food.

In every other respect Lilly is a typical young girl who is very friendly and outgoing. She mixes well with other dogs but due to her food guarding she will need to be the only pet in the home, unless her new owner is experienced with this behaviour and can take all the necessary steps to prevent this being an issue.

We believe that in the right home with a kind but confident owner Lilly’s issues can be overcome. She is only a young girl and has so much potential.

Lilly will need an adult only home and will benefit from an active lifestyle. Due to her young age she will need a home with someone around for most/all of the day.
