Please meet lovely Lily. Lily is a medium sized Cross-Breed girl of 3 years old. Lily is a kind and gentle, soft natured girl. She is very affectionate with people she knows but weary of those she does not know, as she is insecure. This situation can be worked with on a regular basis in order for Lily to overcome her fears and with another suitable confident doggy companion by her side and confident new owners who will introduce her into situations in the right way, Lily will be able to make good progress.. She is looking for a calm and quiet location in the countryside in order to help her and with this environment Lily will learn to trust those who she is unsure of and give her the life she now deserves.
Lily grew up in a rescue shelter for the majority of her life where she found no love or attention. Since being with Lea Valley Dog Rescue, Lily is now finding life more fulfilling and satisfying and ready to continue the progress she has made. Hopefully with new confident owners and a loving home, Lily will thrive and enjoy herself. Lily is affectionate and loving and will make a super companion to her new owners. She enjoys her walks in quiet rural areas and the stimulation that this brings and is making her more confident every day.
She is more confident with another dog around her so ideally her new home will already have a faithful friend to show Lily the ropes. Lily is learning what the good life is all about and taking it all in her stride. She has come a long way in the time she has been in foster and with continued support in her new home where she will get more one to one attention and training Lily will settle down to her new life.
Lily is still learning about different situations and as long as you continue the hard work and training and build up her confidence, along with lots of love and affection she deserves, Lily will really come on. Lily still needs her rules and boundaries in the home but she is well behaved and non destructive. She is house trained and can be left for short periods of time with no problem at all and travels well in the car.. Once Lily has settled into her new home, further basic command training would be useful and help Lily become a well balanced and rounded dog. Lily is vaccinated, micro-chipped, spayed, wormed and flea treated.
Lily is currently in foster in, Chelmsford, Essex. We are looking to home her in or around this area or neighbouring counties as a home check will be done, although further afield may be possible for the right home.
