Lottie
Meet Lottie, she is 6 1/2 year old speyed female Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross that has been with us since September 2006 when she arrived as an ex-stray. Lottie is a lovely lass that can be nervous of new people especially men and doesn’t always show herself off very well in her paddock.
Once she knows you she will make a loving and affectionate companion, as she loves her cuddles and will give you kisses often pawing you for more attention. She is fine to be left for short periods and is calm and quiet and never destructive sitting in her bed until you return but as she is very much a people dog would prefer to accompany you on your outings, shopping, travelling etc.
Lottie knows quite a few commands and will give you her paw although will perform them well when she knows you better but as she loves her treats this shouldn’t be a problem. She enjoys her walks and walks well on a harness sticking mainly by your side! Sadly she doesn’t yet know what toys are all about preferring the company of humans.
Lottie hasn’t been mixed with dogs at the Home but would benefit from going to a home without other canines. It will take Lottie time to settle into new surroundings therefore she will need a patient owner who understands timid dogs. Due to her nervousness she would suit a household where any children are aged 10+ but hasn’t mixed with cats. Lottie will make someone a very loyal companion.
Can you offer out timid lass a new loving home where she can feel at ease?
