Lulu is a 5 year old Cocker Spaniel who is an ex-breeding girl and has come to us to find her forever home. Unlike many, she is not overly nervous and does love a fuss from her humans.
As you would expect she knows little of life in the home so toileting accidents should be expected initially. Her foster is working on this with her but it will take a little time and patience for her to get the hang of things fully.
She is great with other dogs and would be best rehomed with another similar sized gentle, confident, resident dog. We would like new owners who are around for a good part of the day. Lulu does walk on a harness but lacks a little confidence especially when near traffic, this will require a little more work to build her confidence.
Lulu travels well in the car and is confident enough to be rehomed with older sensible children. She is fine with the cat and is learning basic commands like sit, wait, down, stay etc. Lulu does have what appears to be a cyst on her tail base, this will be addressed by the vets and we will pass on to interested parties the outcome. We do not envisage any issues with this from initial assessments.
Lulu is currently being fostered in Carshalton Surrey. She will be neutered, have at least her 1st vaccination, microchipped and be up to date with her flea and worming treatment. If needed she will also have her teeth cleaned and polished.
