Mabel - 8 year old female Cross-Breed

Mabel is an 8 year old brindle cross-breed female who came into the care of Warrington RSPCA in April 2007 because her owners were working very long hours so felt it fair to rehome her. Through not fault of her own she has always been overlooked she became quite depressed in the kennels after all this time so we took her into our care to give her a chance, just look at the pictures of her in her foster home, freedom at last! Mabel is spayed, microchipped, flead/wormed and fully vaccinated.

Mabel is an absolute joy, a very friendly (now happy!) girl who loves to be with you, she adores playing fetch with balls and frisbies, for the first time today in almost a year and a half she has been off lead to run around, and she’s certainly taking advantage of that!

She is very obedient and knows basic commands. She also loves to roll around in the grass and enjoys a good tummy rub. She travels very well, she’s good with other dogs, if they are too boisterous or catches her by suprise she doesn’t like this but generally with normal introductions she’s fine.

Mabel will make a lovely family pet with older children, she’ll lap up the attention and will want to please everyone, she’ll need a home where she’s not left for long periods and with no cats. We really don’t understand why she was never been noticed in the kennels, she’s got lovely markings and is very pretty indeed she’s medium in size with a lovely smooth coat. She’ll make someone very happy indeed.

Mabel is superb in the home, she has been left numerous times and has not been destructive. She’s not messed once in the house, she’s very affectionate, Philip thinks she’s a lady’s lady as she’s attached herself to Tricia!

She LOVES to play, she’s really clever and very obedient. She’s full of life and loves her walks, she’s very lucky as there’s a canal walk right on her doorstep. She’s come into contact with other dogs and no trouble there, we knew she was fine but you never know!

Her fosterers can’t believe she’s been overlooked and are dreading the day she leaves them to go to her new home  they think she’s beautiful and just can’t fault her!
