Mabel is a six year old female Greyhound who came to us for homing after she was found in an appalling state as a stray in the North East. The pictures show her on arrival and now, after a few months in our care. Mabel is currently in foster with another two Greyhounds male and female and she hasn’t been a moment’s trouble to them, or the other two Greyhounds in a home she also stayed in when her fosterer was away. She is the most wonderful girl, happy, curious and playful.
Mabel is happier with dog company so we would like her to be homed with another Hound or Hounds, she will sleep on her own, but also likes to curl up with her head on her hound pals in her foster home. She is housetrained, good when left for a few hours and good out on walks, she is however not cat or small furry friendly. For a dog coming out of a stray kennels in such an appalling state, she has come on in leaps and bounds and is definitely a character, amusing with her playing and curiosity, and affectionate with people. She has been for pub lunches and enjoyed meeting people and children, she likes to be in the thick of things!
Mabel is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and flead and wormed. She can be homed both locally and nationally dependent on a successful homecheck.
