Mac
Mac, is a lovely Terrier type male that has had a very disturbing time in the last couple of weeks, Mac’s owners packed himself and his friend into the car and took them on a drive. Poor Mac had no idea what was going on and his friend was getting scared when they were let out of the car near some big bushes and trees.
Both boys waited patiently for the human to tell them what they wanted of them. The loyal pair could hear lots of dogs barking as their owner tied them up near some bushes. When he drove away Mac’s friend panicked and tried to go after the owner, to beg him to help them, but sadly because of how he was tied, he died in his attempt to get help for himself and Mac.
Poor Mac went over to comfort his friend and to tell him they’d be okay in the end, but Mac couldn’t rouse his friend. Shaking Mac cuddled up to him to warm his friend, but sadly his friend had passed, long before he should have. A long time later another human came over to Mac, comforted him and he was taken away with his friend.
He’s finding life so hard on his own but he is friendly and forgiving to the humans, he’s just looking for a quiet place to go now where he’ll be loved and will never have to witness such cruelty again. Mac has been in foster care for a while until he was ready to be rehomed, we now feel Mac should find a new loving home, below are some comments from Mac’s foster mum;
Mac is settling in well now. He is such a lovely boy and would make a great companion for some lucky person. He loves cuddles and only wants to rest his head on your knee. He is no trouble at all, and is house-trained. He doesn’t pull at all on the lead and is great off the lead. He will walk beside you and likes to have his little run.
He can still get depressed from time to time, whereby he sits looking out the window or spends his time asleep. But other than that he is doing very well. Mac is coming on leaps and bounds and would love to find his forever home soon. He is no trouble at all and I can safely say he is the easiest foster I’ve had so far! He doesn’t ask for much, just love and cuddles! One thing I will say is, he snores like an elephant!
He is fantasic on the lead, doesn’t pull at all and is great off the lead. He will stay beside you and have his little run. Recall great. He is fully house-trained, no problems whatsoever in the house. He could go to somebody who has another dog and is looking for a second one whether male or female once they are introduced properly and are prepared to be patient with him.
He took about a week to two weeks to settle fully with my dog Jessie. He likes to do his own thing (which is mostly sleep) and once the other dogs don’t force themselves on him he will be fine.
As you can see from Mac’s foster mums comments he is an all round fantastic little dog looking for a very special home.
