Maggie – 7 week old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Maggie and her sister Matilda were discovered in a park by two passers by. They were in terrible condition and were quickly rushed to the vet after it was suspected that chemicals had been poured onto their faces. Maggie is a very special little girl indeed who has endured a great deal to get to where she is today. Maggie definitely has sight, but she may require ongoing treatment for her eyes and we do not know how long this will be for.
Maggie needs a home where there are no young children as she gets very frightened and would not cope with the hustle and bustle that children bring. Its is very important that she goes to live with another dog as she needs learning and confidence to be given to her that only another dog can bring. She is going to need a calm, experienced home who are prepared to work closely with the rescue as there is no saying how long she will needs treatment for. Finally, due to her young age she needs a home where someone who will be around most/all of the time to provide her with the love and care that she deserves.
We will not be homing Maggie and her sister Matilda together as they squabble and we thing they would be happier in separate homes. She is in a foster home. If you wish to be her forever home please phone the rescue.
