Magnum is a 4 ½ year old Spanish Podenco Andulaz cross Spanish Mastin. Mad Magnum arrived at Gap in early 2014 having been homed locally by a Spanish rescue. When the family found they couldn’t cope with him the Spanish Rescue admitted they had no back up and could not help! Gap stepped in and offered him a place. When Magnum arrived he was a handful and quite willful. He is a large, happy, clown who at the moment is having so much fun its hard to calm him down and to get him to concentrate on anything other than messing around!
Magnum moved to his highly experienced foster home, with other dogs, in May 2014 where he has come on in leaps and bounds. He is getting loads of exercise from walking, running 4-5 miles a day, biking and general brain training games, but he is still super high energy! Work continues on being calm and he will now relax but is easily distracted! Magnum is extremely happy in with his foster family but we remain hopeful that his perfect forever home is out there somewhere.
