Marley – 18 month old male Cross-Breed
Marley is an 18 month old stunning cross-breed boy who is currently in Macclesfield, Cheshire looking for a new home. He is still with his current owners until we either get a space in the kennels or he’s rehomed. Marley has been signed over for rehoming because the two dogs have the occasional spat and it’s difficult to deal with as they have a 2 ½ yrs old girl and can’t really work on the problem. They’ve had him since he was 6 weeks old from a dogs home.
Marley is neutered, wormed, flead, micro-chipped and fully vaccinated. He is a fit and healthy dog.
Marley is simply stunning; he is a large dog, very much like a Lurcher in build and height. He still acts like a puppy; he’s very playful, lively and bouncy but can be very placid too. He lives with a 3 year Collie dog and for the most part they get on but Marley is always vying for attention and pushes Pepsi out a lot and is a little dominant over him. Since a spell at a boarding farm they have had a couple of spats and feel both would he happier being the only pet.
Marley is house trained, he’s not destructive or food/toy possessive and is good in the house. He knows various commands and loves rawhide chews and walks! He hasn’t been off lead for a couple of months and is desperate for a good run! He is good on the lead and his recall is good.
Marley will suit most households as the only pet and can be rehomed with children but because of his size he knocks toddlers over so really older children are best. He has always been good with other dogs but over the last couple of months he’s been a bit choosy.
We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable when it comes to dogs so he can be properly socialised with other dogs and build his confidence up again. He needs lots of off lead exercise and a decent sized garden. Marley is a super dog and will make a lovely pet for someone.
