Please meet Shih Tzu Marshall one and a half years old. He is a bright spark. Meets and Greets people and dogs outside with a friendly disposition. Marshall has been groomed by HOME FROM HOME in Wickford. Pat tells us he doesn’t like his front paws done. He is a loving dog who had a harsh start. So he needs gentling along and building of trust with his owner. If startled or threatened he could nip. He has done in the past. So when he is scared we just keep hold of him and let the threat pass. He is coping a lot better.
Marshall likes children that he meets and never shows fear or anxiety. But we cannot Home him with youngsters for the reasons above. We would like him homed with a steady couple who would win his trust but set his boundaries. He can be stubborn as is in the breed. He is off lead and keeps up and keeps an eye out for his owners. This small dog would really love a Home of his own as he was let down by his last homing who brought him back at the birth of a first grandchild saying he had nipped again. Marshall loves a good game of tug. He knows his basics and is clever enough to do tricks. Is okay with cats.
