Marty

Meet Marty, he is a 3 year old castrated male Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross that has been with us since November 2006, when he arrived as a stray. Friendly Marty is a lovely natured lad that adores human attention and company.

He doesn’t like being left and will cry initially but soon settles and is quite quiet but would prefer someone that is at home most of the day or where he can accompany his owners on doggy outings. Playful, Marty loves his toys and also likes to play hide and seek and has great recall dropping his ball at your feet on command!

Marty doesn’t know many commands so would beneath from further training and socialisation. He enjoys his walks but is strong on the lead so is best to walked on a harness and walks nicely to heel if told to! He will require a secure house and garden, as he will try to get to you if he sees you coming from a distance.

Marty is okay with other dogs but tends to bark non-stop here in kennels as he gets irritated by the other dogs nearby. He is a seeking a new home where any children are aged 10+ and sensible but we have no history on him with regards to felines. Can you offer our nice natured playful lad a new loving home after being a stray?
