Mateo Castellanos is a 3 year old male Bucovina Sheepdog. This hunk of a fellow has folded the hearts of many females in his time. Now, he seeks a quieter life outside of the spotlight. Mateo has traveled over 2,000 miles from Romania to the United Kingdom, where he resides. Unfortunately, the flurry of females that accompanied him on his Incredible journey, were stopped short at the French boarders. So he swam alone, taking no breaks, crossing the distance on a single breath, with only 3 paw strides. Upon arrival at Dover, Mateo shook his mighty beast like structure, instantly removing all moisture. The only moisture that remained, were the tears of sadness, shed from his most devoted female admires.
Mateo is now currently awaiting a special individual or family, that will give him a home of his own. He is living in Peterborough Cambridgeshire in a home with other resident dogs and cats. Being such a handsome man, he prefers to be the ladies first choice, so does not like to live with other large breeds. Mateo lets his butch down, and will happily show his playful side in the company of smaller breeds. Whilst the attention from the females has been drastically reduced, Mateo now readily accepts the interaction and affection from people.
Clean in the home, non destructive, just seductive, good on the lead after he’s got the excitement out of the way. Loves a hearty meal, he doesn’t mind being touched and responds well to humans. Due to his size (Rottweiler/Shepherd), Mateo would best suit an adult home only. He can be strong, and could easily knock a small person over whilst playing.
This boy would not suit an elderly couple, as he is larger than a Border Collie. Large breed experience is ideal. To reduce the chances to reproduce (creating an army of little Mateos running around), he has been neutered.
Mateo is vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. For more information about this Romanian hunk, please feel free to contact us. All dogs are re homed subject to a successful home check. A minimum of 6′ fencing is required as standard.
