Matthew – 2 year old male Lurcher

Matthew is a male 2 year old Lurcher with a healthy, glossy black coat. He was found as a stray in Ireland so we don’t know his age or background. Matthew is a lovely, affectionate boy and, as you can see in the photo, he is definitely cat friendly!

Matthew has lived in a home for a while now, and is therefore used to that environment and is also house trained. He gets on well with other dogs once he knows them and can be homed either with another dog or as an only dog.

We feel that Matthew would be best homed with an experienced sighthound owner who is happy to continue his training, as he can get excitable when he sees other dogs whilst out on walks. This is improving and Matthew will make a lovely, rewarding companion to anyone willing to work more on this issue.

He is currently in a foster home in Norfolk, which he shares with another dog, and can be transported to anywhere in the UK or Europe if a suitable home offer comes up.
