Max – 4 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Max is a 4 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier boy who was brought in by an Inspector because the owner couldn’t care for Max, he needed veterinary treatment that she couldn’t afford and she had an addiction that affected her caring for Max adequately. Max is now castrated, microchipped, flead, wormed and is vaccinated. He is currently being fostered in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire.

Max really is a very sweet, lovely little dog, he’s very friendly and is not over boisterous for his age. We don’t know what kind of life he had but when he first meets you he’s quite submissive and exhibits behaviours of being ill treated, it’s so sad but he soon comes round. He has many scars but we don’t know how he has received these wounds.

Max just wants to please. He is so gentle when giving his paw or taking treats, he even reaches up to you for a cuddle. He lived with a teenager and has spent a lot of time with the 2 year old grandchild; he’s good with children and will make a lovely family pet.

Max used to live with another dog and whilst in our care has never showed any signs of aggression to other dogs, his tail wags or he’s just not interested. He may more nervous of larger dogs. He has never been around a cat so a cat free home is required.

Max would make someone a lovely pet, he’s very affectionate. He is a cracking dog and it’s such a shame he’s in this situation looking for his forever home. Anyone who meets this boy instantly adores him, he’s won us all over!
