Max is a 6 year old German Shepherd cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier, male neutered. Max came in to us as his owner is very ill with cancer and is no longer able to care for him, recently she has had a fair few visits to the hospital which have required Max to be left on his own for long periods of time, with someone coming in just to feed him and let him out for a wee.
Max’s owner has been ill for quite some time, so Max has gone several years without being walked and having a social life, because of this he has shown mild signs of human guarding (just a growl at other dogs when he is getting a fuss). I think he has recently spent so much time alone that he wants to make sure he gets all the attention, however with correction, this has settled well.
Max is great in the house, he is good with cats, ignores chickens, but is not good with small furries. Max pulls like a steam train on the lead, he is good to be left for short periods of time (I would not want him to be left for long periods, due to how long he has been left for before).
Max will be fully vaccinated, micro chipped, neutered, up to date with all flea treatment and wormer and come with five weeks free insurance.
