McKenzie

McKenzie is a Terrier cross male aged between 10-12 months old, who originally arrived at Battersea back in March 2007 as a stray, he was rehomed in June but sadly returned after a few days as his new owners could not cope with his boisterous nature.

McKenzie is an active, cheeky and boisterous youngster who is full of mischief and will run riot if allowed! McKenzie is looking for experienced dog owners ideally used to rescue dogs as he will need a confident and firm hand from day one. New owners must be committed and patient as he requires all basic training and control. After he has had some training McKenzie would make an ideal candidate for agility or flyball, he would excel in these kind of doggy activities.

McKenzie is a real livewire and a comical character, he has so much potential he just needs guidance from his new owners. unfortunately he cannot live with other dogs or children, older teenagers may be considered. McKenzie is very boisterous around other dogs and may get himself in trouble, new owners must dedicate time initially to recall training.

Being such a young and active dog McKenzie cannot be left on his own, he will need to learn to be left alone gradually from day one. previously travelled well in a car and was quickly picking up housetraining. McKenzie is a very trainable young dog who loves people, toys and food so with a consistent and firm approach this should be an easy task.

If you feel you can offer this super youngster a home please contact the rehoming team at Old Windsor on 01784 494443.
