Meesha – 8 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Meesha deserves the “Bestest” of homes where she is nurtured and given a ‘dog centred’ life where her needs are central. Meesha can live with another(s) dogs. Meesha is kind hearted and would settle with children we have no doubt but parents will have to judge as we have not been able to label ‘proven’ NB Our Rescue asks owners to maintain dogs on lead in public spaces and manage encounters, as dog law changes place dog’s lives at greater risk.

Meesha was found running stray around a supermarket car park Christmas Eve 14, recently having given birth and with an obvious lump: In a totally neglected state. Unclaimed Meesha came to us straight into our vet 6th Jan 15. She was spayed, her inguinal hernia was repaired (the lump), and 2 non cancerous mammary tumours removed. Meesha arrived chipped hence her name and age: She is now fully vaccinated. Meesha is in foster in Walthamstow.

Meesha couldn’t be Sweetha. Meesha is chilled around dogs and is easy to walk, obviously she needs support with encounters with intrusive off lead dogs but has a good chance of fairing well. Meesha managed well in a multi-dog foster placement when she first came in and now is living with first time owners in her foster place within a high dog density London area. Meesha is house trained and is responsive to commands. Travels well either crated or secured. Meesha needs her welfare needs met with lovely walks and lots of sweet talks.

Meesha is a medium sized Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross about 8 years old and hopefully with many years ahead with a lovely orange brindle coat. Currently in fine health having had the best of vet care on entry to our Rescue and is looking complete different having returned to full health. She has made a full recovery and presents as in pristine condition now with just her saggy under carriage hinting as he exploitative past. Meesha is such a supreme dog who isn’t leapy, bouncy, over licky. She is just a true friend. Meesha responds to love and would be great around children as she has a lovely even temperament.
