Mia – 3 year old female Akita

Please meet Mia who is a lovely 3 year old white Akita who found herself in a pound in Yorkshire. Mia is a well mannered, laid back gentle girl, who loves people. She walks well on the lead, and is not destructive. She travels well and was clean in the house during her home assessment.
Mia has been vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, deflead and will be neutered before leaving for her new home.

Mia can get a little worried when left alone, so would like a home who will help reassure that not everyone leaves her without coming back, though she has not been destructive. Mia recently attended our charity walk, and spent 3 hours socialising with 30 dogs, and laying in the lake to cool down! Everyone was smitten with her and she adored all the fusses and cuddles she received!

Mia could potentially live with a laid back, submissive male dog, or alone. A home with children aged ten plus would be ideal as we do not know if she has lived with children before.

Mia is a calm and gentle girl who would give anything for someone to love and please. Shes a loving girl who will be a fantastic addition to her new family. A loyal and affectionate girl, could you be the home Mia is looking for?
