Mia

Mia is a 6 year old female Japanese Akita who was bought by a couple who went to look for a puppy. When they saw her they bought her to free her from the misery she’d had all her life as a brood bitch for a puppy farmer who did not care about dogs – only the number of puppies they could get per year per bitch. Mia had come to the end of her breeding life so the breeder wished to get rid of her.

She loves a cup of tea and toast and cucumber. Mia is good with children and adults, though she must go to a home with no other pets as she has not been used to other animals. She is now house trained thanks to the couple who saved her; sadly their landlord has told them she has to go, hence this why she is with us looking for a new home.
