Miss Mia is a 5 year old female Mastiff cross Akita. She is spayed and vaccinated, chipped. Our fosterer says she’s never had such a chilled and well behaved dog. She seems to really enjoy doggie companions which she never had before. Her size is small Mastiff. She will engage in dog play easily so another dog would be a good idea.
Outdoors she is off lead with good recall. She travels very well. Sleeps well. Eats well! Not greedy and will stay back if other dogs about. Won’t eat till told or gives paw. Child cat and people friendly. Very unphased. Lost her home due to lost accommodation issue. Very sadly handed over. Has been loved and enjoyed. Bless her. Wish I had space.
*Update August 2018*
Miss Mia has been her for three weeks of sheer delight. She is what we know as a teaching dog. She will stand very quickly between dogs she thinks are escalating. She looks at them from side to side and they walk off. She is very sweet in nature. If only I had room for another large one. When food is served and put down, she is the last to go for her own dish and waits for the word to go and for the others to go first.
She has slimmed down slightly and picked up her fitness. She loves the forest walks best and will disappear off for a few minutes. She comes back to a whistle and looks slightly abashed that she wandered off. She enjoys a paddle contrary to what we were told. She will make someone a perfect addition to their pack.
