Miller – 4 year old male Greyhound

Miller is a 4 year old Greyhound lad. He is quite a big boy and has a soft black coat that needs to gain some condition now that he’s retired from the racing life. Despite his size, Miller is quiet and laid back, tending to take things in his stride. He gets on good with other greyhounds, but has not yet seen much of the world outside of kennels. New owners will need to be aware of this when introducing him to new dog breeds as it is likely he has never seen non-greyhound shaped dogs before! He has been around children before and behaved very well with them. He is not cat friendly.

Miller is best pals with his friend Blackie, another 4 year old black boy. They have spent their entire lives together so ideally we would love to find them a home together as they would help each other adjust to the home life. They balance each other out beautifully – Miller being quiet and calm while Blackie is more outgoing and playful. We will rehome them separately if the right homes come along, however.

Miller has settled well in to the routine of our kennels, and gets on great with the other greyhounds. He is very relaxed and easy to walk on the lead, in fact after about half an hour he needs a bit of a prompt to keep walking! He loves being around people and aims to please.

Miller is currently in kennels with Blackie in Norfolk, UK. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and a homecheck will be required as part of the adoption procedure. After 4 years of racing, both these boys really deserve their retirement sofas now.
