Milly is a very pretty 12-year-old English Springer Spaniel girl who is in a foster home in Sleaford, Lincolnshire, waiting for someone to offer her a loving forever home. Milly isn’t keen on being left on her own for any length of time and after a while she will bark if she has been left alone in a room. She would like to be able to spend most, preferably all, of the day with her new owners.
Milly is happily living with the Labrador and Shih Tzu cross at her foster home. Milly’s foster carer doesn’t know how she is with cats, but we were told by Milly’s previous owner that she had lived with cats in the past, so she should have the potential to live with cats again. Again, we were told that Milly has happily lived with children in the past. Since coming into foster she has been fine when meeting children on walks, and we think she would enjoy a home with children.
Milly mostly wants to be with someone and is uninterested in toys. She will entertain herself with a bone, but her favourite thing is definitely a fuss! She doesn’t like to wake up and find that you have disappeared. As she is deaf, a lot of things can startle her and so consideration about letting her know where you are helps prevent her getting anxious.
As she is so full of energy, Milly may do best in a home where there are children to play with her. She definitely wouldn’t want to be in a home where she would be left alone. Her perfect owners will be patient and loving people.
Milly is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and has been flea and worm treated. Other than being deaf, she is in excellent health and isn’t on any medication.
