Milly May – 11 year old female Yorkshire Terrier
Milly May is a lovely 11 year old female Yorkshire Terrier who is currently in foster care in Hull. Milly May is lovely she is so tiny, but full of fun, Her vaccination records give her d.o.b as 11/10/98 so she’s only just 11 (but she really doesn’t act it- I’ve met older 6 year old dogs!) She loves her walks, both girls are brilliant on a lead and you have to keep checking they are still on the end of the lead as there’s no pulling (my seven year old can walk both together easily!). Milly May had a couple of little accidents over the weekend but she is settling down now and was dry overnight and today.
Milly May is a gentle dog. She loves my boys and is quick to jump on their knee for a cuddle. She likes Max, my Pom and has been friendly with other dogs when we have been out for a walk. She enjoys her walks and will walk for as long as you let her! She is very gentle on a lead and doesn’t pull.
Milly May is nosey (she stands on two legs and raises herself up like a meercat to see whats going on!). She is keen to learn and very keen to please. She acts so much younger than her years and yet is so much calmer than a young dog (perfect for anyone who would like an active dog but is not keen on the puppy/young dog phase???)

Milly May is fine when left for short periods of time. She has had a couple of accidents while she has been here, but these are becoming few and far between. She is so keen to please and usually goes to the back door to signal she wants to be let out, I feel that with a few weeks gentle understanding the accidents will be a thing of the past.
Milly May stands 22 cm to her shoulders and 29 cm from shoulders to tail so she is only tiny.
Anyone wishing to be considered for the adoption of Milly Mae is required to complete an adoption form after reading all the adoption rules & procedures via the rescues website.
