Milo – 6 year old male Husky cross Labrador

Milo is a lovely 6 year old male Husky cross Labrador. Milo is still with his owner until we get a space in the kennels, in the meantime we’d like to rehome him direct from his current home. He’s been signed over for rehoming because the husband had a bad car accident which has left him with some problems and they thought getting a dog would help him but they found they just cannot cope with having a dog, 2 toddlers and 2 cats. He has only been with them since October.

Milo is a stunning dog; he is good with cats, children and dogs, a lovely placid and every so friendly nature. We feel he would benefit more from living with another dog (it is policy that existing dogs must be neutered and ideally vaccinated) or at least socialising with other dogs every day. He is very good on the lead, loves his walks and needs plenty of off lead exercise; his recall is good but if he doesn’t get enough exercise he tends to have selective hearing!

He is not food or toy possessive and loves carrots, apples and melon! His fave toys are ropes, squeaky toys and balls, he also likes his rawhide. He is very obedient knowing a few commands and is generally a very relaxed and calm dog who loves to play.

Milo will need a very secure garden as he can easily jump 4-5ft fencing. He’s the kind of dog who would suit a home in the country or at least lots of decent country walks. This dog has previously been passed from pillar to post so his future is of the utmost importance to us. Who would not want a dog that’s as perfect and intelligent as Milo?

Thinking about adopting a dog?- How about if we gave you some free dog food to make life easier?

Highly recommended if you’re thinking of adopting a dog:- Compare dog insurance policies and make sure your idea of the cheapest dog insurance isn’t mistaken for the best dog insurance!
